Both are prestigious apex bank exams with comparable difficulty. RBI Grade B is considered slightly tougher due to its Phase II including three high-level papers (Economic & Social Issues, Finance, Management), while NABARD has a stronger focus on Agriculture and Rural Development.
Priority subjects include Agriculture & Rural Development, Economic & Social Issues, Banking Awareness, Current Affairs, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English (Descriptive Writing).

NABARD Grade A officers progress from Assistant Manager → Manager (Grade B) → Assistant General Manager → Deputy General Manager → General Manager → Chief General Manager → Executive Director → Director, with performance-linked promotions at each level.
